California C House
California C House is a resort-style inn located in the desert of California. The plan follows the shape of the letter C and uses a minimalist style. The building is constructed with pure wood. The layout is inspired by the traditional courtyard homes of Beijing. Sunlight analysis guided the design, so guests can rest in the outdoor courtyard and view the natural surroundings while remaining shaded. The interior combines natural materials with calm colors. The total area is 381 square meters. All soft furnishings, including the headboard, were custom made.
