Arion Vtol
Arion VTOL is an emergency aircraft designed to reduce delays in medical rescue. The aircraft combines vertical take-off and landing with a hybrid hydrogen-electric propulsion system, so ground traffic is avoided and patients are reached quickly. A quad-rotor layout allows landing on rooftops, parking areas and off-grid sites without a runway. The modular medical cabin uses plug-and-play interfaces and supports rescue, patient transfer, organ transport and supply missions. Onboard systems send vital data to hospitals in real time.
Arion Vtol Emergency Aircraft by Yingbo Ma, has been identified as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Arion Vtol Emergency Aircraft received the Silver A' Design Award in Aerospace and Aircraft Design in 2026. The A' Aerospace and Aircraft Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which honors superior design of jets, helicopters, gliders, drones, seaplanes, airships, ultralights, biplanes and more.
