In the designer's view of point, we may reject any form of theory or opinion, however, we can't refuse the potential influence from the architectural and interior environment that we live in. It seems "what do you want to convey" is more significant than to argue "what it is". So except for the form and style of the restaurant, the more challenging part is to convey the spirit of Setsugekka Japanese Cuisine.
Continue readingHow to design a high quality urban space, redefine the image of a “landmark” building, while maintaining cultural tradition of Xixi wetland spirits, is the major challenge of this project. Four L-shaped slab buildings with large openings are used to encircling the site due to the landscape cross. The internal building volumes are modeled on the traditional wetland settlement pattern. It ensures the maximum utilization of landscape resources. Reasonable structures present a non-conventional visual impression, making the buildings a group of futuristic city sculptures.

Boundary between interior and exterior space is blurred when combining with outdoor scene The carpet spread here with abstract pattern derived from Zaha Hadid's 3D painting, consisting of reconstructive lines and structural changes of color blocks, gives the space another distinctive attraction of personality.
Continue readingThe design project of AISG includes the renovation of 499 halls, music rooms, artistic corridors and lobbies—all of which are functional for giving performances, teaching, entertainment and presentations etc. The project is based on the general cultural background of the school, integrated with considerations of forms of social communications and users’ needs. The project received a LEED Silver certification from the USGBC.

It takes an attitude of "ROAR" to form its own values which can lead us to be positive and have deep affection for life. In order to convey the local street culture, create lifestyle and attitudes belonging to this generation, the brand uses the clothing as a carrier. Basing the concept of the brand "No Reason No Excuse", the design try to break the boring display and the tedious shopping process. So we are dedicated to break the rules and the inherent thinking through the illusion of artistic modeling "R".
Continue readingThis is a poetic sanctuary that shows people both the brilliant Islamic culture and our vision for a better life. This is also a homelike cultural center that provides a spiritual home for local residents especially Muslims. Based on traditional mosque, the building subtly interprets the spatial structure of mosque with new materials and technologies.The dome sees the translation and abstraction of Islamic symbols rather than simple mimicking. We constitute the dome with petaloid shells and creatively transform the interior space into a semi-exterior roof garden flooded with sunshine, air.
