Midtown

The ideas of a tapas restaurant and a brewery bar were combined together, and became one synergistic restaurant. Both restaurants support each others' characteristics as a bar and a restaurant. Industrial elements and brewery system are exposed in the space, and the idea was elevated to the level of installation art by the designer. The beer tanks and elaborated piping are stored in the beautiful glass cases and brewing beers, and in addition to the system, imitation pipes and handles are added thought-out the space.

Villafound Jade Hotel Lijiang

The Villafound Jade in Lijiang is located at Yuhu Village, which is a picturesque village beside a lake and under Yulong Snow Mountain. Villafound Jade is composed of 13 detached villas, including a folk custom museum, a restaurant with tea bar, and the rest is lodging areas. In term of architecture intervention, the architect applied Naxi residence elements largely and maintained the rustic beauty of Naxi traditional dwellings, meanwhile, modern design method was used to meet the demand of living comfort for contemporary people, purposing to create a perfect and balanced luxury retreat.

Nike+ Run Club on Huaihai

When it comes to grabbing the attention of customers, nothing beats a shareable, livable, one-of-a-kind experience. The need for a strong brand-customer connection has never been more prevalent, and what better way to connect than in-person? COORDINATION ASIA joined forces with Nike to create the NIKE+ RUN CLUB on Huaihai, a pair of stealth hubs operating as a pop-up gym outside of department store Lane Crawford in Shanghai’s Times Square.

Shanghai Film Museum

Unlike any other type of museum, a film museum connects to people’s personal lives and memories. COORDINATION ASIA created an experience for the Shanghai Film Museum that is driven by interaction and dialogue, and that allows visitors to be an active participant in the story of Shanghai film. Over 15,000 sqm the museum shares the story of Shanghai filmmaking, from its magical beginning in 1886 to present day’s 3D blockbusters.

Recrystallization

Every model looks like being intersected. Though there are more than 3000 punched metal plate in the hall, big or small, no one is equal to another in size, and they are unified together as a whole perfectly. Overlooked by the indistinctive sculptures, one cannot wait but approach the hyper-modern statues. (The sculptures on exhibition are created by Xavier Veilhan, a French artist) LED movie screen plays the latest trailers, making movie goers back to the physical world.
