The project attempts to fuse notable elements from Chinese traditions with modern beauty-appreciation and lifestyle, in a relatively eclectic way. Combining three or more functional sections into a space becomes a kind of trends in China and many other countries, due to customer experience and management operation. The club, swimming pool and restaurant were given three different elements to stand out from each other.
Continue readingThe Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a large sea-crossing linking Hong Kong with Zhuhai City and Macao. The Passenger Clearance Building (PCB) serve as a transportation hub to provide clearance facilities for goods and passengers respectively using the bridge. The objective of the HKBCF is to create a new landmark building that reflects Hong Kong as a vibrant global and metropolitan city, and a gateway of Hong Kong to serve for the western part of Pearl River Delta via HZMB.
Continue readingWorld's metropolises - like Beijing - have a large number of footbridges traversing busy traffic arteries. They are often unattractive, downgrading the overall urban impression. Designers' idea of cladding the footbridges with aesthetic, power generating PV modules and transforming them into attractive city spots is not only sustainable but creates a sculptural diversity that becomes an eye-catcher in the cityscape. E-car or E-bike charging stations under the footbridges utilize the solar energy directly on site.
Continue readingThe design of Talento cabinet by Edoardo Colzani is a containing unit with a particular visual impact where crafstmanship and design come together in a wise balance of empty and full and an alternation of different depths and proportions. The new texture in liquid metal embellishes and emphasizes the two doors. The use of liquid metal on the door surfaces, enhances the visible and tactile textures animating the surface of the doors with three-dimensional effects. The opening of the doors reveals the interior part entirely lacquered in liquid metal and equipped with glass and lacquered.

There are five types of reading area in total, each of which is like a wonderland with distinctive features. Chongqing Zhongshuge bookstore has provided the consumers with a more fancy experience that they are not able to gain through the online shopping.
Continue reading“Pixel” is the basic element of images, designer explores relationship of movement and pixel to become the theme of this design. “Pixel” is applied in different areas of the cinema. The box office grand hall houses a tremendous curved envelop formed by over 6000 pieces of stainless steel panels. The feature display wall is decorated with huge amount of square strips protruding from the wall is presenting the glamorous name of cinema. Inside this cinema, everyone would enjoy the great atmosphere of digital world generated by the cohesion of all “Pixel” elements.
