Guangming Public Service is a government office and public service building in Shenzhen, China. The building is divided into two blocks with distinct forms. The upper rectangular volume contains offices, while the lower block holds a public service hall with an undulating roof shaped like a mountain range. Two small hills on the site are preserved, which reduces excavation and extends the surrounding green landscape. The plan avoids the enclosed layout that is common in Chinese government buildings. Polyot

Polyot is a restaurant interior located in Moscow. The design recalls the setting of a science fiction film. Sleek steel shapes and portholes at the entrance make the space resemble the cabin of a space shuttle. Minimalism is a guiding principle, so patterns and ornaments are absent from the walls and from the design elements. Large shining objects are used instead. Two silver figures, each 3.6 meters tall, stand on symmetric columns at the entrance. All furniture and lighting were custom made for the project.

Mirror Bridge

Studio with Mirror Bridge is an office interior created for a design studio in a ground-floor flat in a 1990s residential neighborhood. The original layout was linear and dark, with one small patio. A twisted vortex of mirror polished stainless steel connects the north and south sides and improves lighting, ventilation and scale. The reflective surface spreads daylight through the interior. The vortex narrows in the lounge area and ends as a curved bar. The form also blocks direct views from the entrance to the work area.
